Just in case you didn't know...

there's NOTHING good on TV on Friday nights. ever. And it sucks, because I'm always home on Friday nights, and I'm always left aimlessly flipping through stations looking for something to watch to occupy the night--and I almost always end up watching Nick-at-Night shows like Full House, Fresh Prince, and Roseanne--wondering what happened to my life--and am I really as boring as my tv viewing habits imply?

Tonight, I'm watching the Bourne Supremacy for approximately the 4th time. Don't get me wrong--I love watching a crew-cutted Matt Damon just as much as the next pathetically single girl home alone on a Friday night--but even he has lost his appeal. No matter how much I try to talk to him on the tv, he doesn't talk back. He has no thoughts on how my day was--or my weekend plans (or lack there-of). He doesn't care that I actually got all my laundry done and put away, and now I have all this free time for the weekend--or that instead of being elated, I realize it was kind of stupid because now I have MORE long endless hours to occupy with either aimless net-surfing or reading...or sucky TV watching.

I need to find a hobby to fill up Saturday. Any suggestions?
